What is the Community Aid Fund?
Knoxville Ultimate is dedicated to providing Ultimate playing opportunities for players of all skill levels, abilities, and backgrounds. As we continue to grow Ultimate in Knoxville, we believe it is important to include anyone and everyone that would like to participate in our programs.
Financial hardship should not be a barrier to participating in Knoxville Ultimate events. If you are experiencing financial hardship and cannot afford participate in a Knoxville Ultimate program or other Ultimate-related event, please apply for our Community Aid Grant/Scholarship.
How is the Community Aid Fund Paid For?
In 2024, the Board of Directors established the Community Aid Fund using surplus funds from adult leagues over the years. Seeking to be good stewards of Knoxville Ultimate’s resources and hoping to foster a community that helps one another, we encourage community members who have the means to donate to the fund.
The Board of Directors will continue to distribute a portion of league surplus into the fund but the longevity of this resource lies in the hands of generous community members who choose to help their peers participate in the sport we all love.
