18 July 2023 – Knoxville Ultimate, in conjunction with the Visit Knoxville Sports Commission and Knox County Parks and Recreation, have been selected by USA Ultimate as the hosts for the 2023 East Coast Men’s Sectionals Tournament. The event will take place on September 9th and 10th at Forks of the River Park. Pool play games will run all day on Saturday, while the bracket will round out the excitement on Sunday with the top teams advancing to the South East Regionals Tournament two weeks later. Knoxville players are expected to be attending with two teams: local Men’s team, Folklore, lead by coach Sam Swenson-Rhinehold, and the East Tennessee Men’s team, Tanasi.
